Artist Statement

Corrigan Eckert is an artist working with various techniques including printmaking, found natural objects, and cut paper installations. Her art practice includes mindful walking, natural object gathering, and nature writing. These modalities allow her to reflect on her experiences of the natural world and create works that encourage conversations about stewardship and conservation. Corrigan reflects on these experiences and gathered artifacts as content for narratives and references to inspire a growing body of work about the Midwestern landscape.
